When Philippe Poutou covers the “Zemmour President” posters

This is one more episode in the little war that Philippe Poutou and Eric Zemmour have been engaged in for a few years. The candidate of the NPA (New Anticapitalist Party) in the presidential election and elected opposition to mayor of Bordeaux has led in recent days an operation “gluing” against the journalist and polemicist in the Gironde capital.

In two short videos posted on his account Twitter, we see Philippe Poutou covering the “Zemmour President” posters. He qualifies his potential adversary in a few months of “racist”, “homophobic” and “sexist” before taking the brush and gluing the face of the latter of a poster inviting to “fight the authoritarianism of LREM” and another for LGBT rights with the slogan: “Free the far right and the reactionaries”.

Zemmour dismissed from CNews

The two men have cursed each other several times in the past. In 2017, Zemmour had called Poutou “a real useful idiot of capitalism” before the latter refused to participate in a show because of the presence of the former.

As a reminder, CNews announced on Monday via a press release that the channel removed Eric Zemmour from its antenna after the decision of the CSA [Conseil supérieur de l’audiovisuel]. Last week, he asked the audiovisual media to count the interventions of the polemicist on the national political debate because of his potential candidacy for the presidential election in 2022.
