Félix Torres, defender of Ecuador, lamented the tie: “We had the result assured”

“We face a good rival. The game was quite close, there was no way they could hurt us. There were specific things that allowed us to score a goal in the final instances. Let’s hold our heads up for everything we’re doing”, added the footballer.

In the same way, Félix Torres assured that the equality on the scoreboard did not reflect what happened on the pitch: “I think it wasn’t fair, because we had a guaranteed result, we didn’t settle for one goal, but in the end the draw is important”.

Finally, the defender explained that they will continue to do their best until the last day. “We still don’t feel like we’re even in the playoffs, there are two dates left to close and we’re going to work until the end to close in the position we’re in. We try to take care of the privileged position that we have”, he sentenced.
