The architect of this proposal is Cristian Estremadoyro, a staunch fan of the national team and lifelong Surcano, who asked the urban artist Dumser to portray the footballers who, in his opinion, have been the most influential in the history of the red-and-white. “As a fan of the Peruvian team, this is a way to pay tribute to them for all the joy they have given us,” comments the gastronomic entrepreneur.

Cristian opened his store in the middle of last year motivated by one reason: he always dreamed of having a space where he could gather soccer fans like him to enjoy good food. Its name, in addition to its sporting connotation, refers to its location: it is right in front of the field of the Los Próceres sports complex. “My idea was always for it to be a meeting point not only to follow the national team, but also the local tournament, the Copa Libertadores, the Champions League and any other football event there is.”

Since its inauguration and without intending to, La Cancha has summoned not only fans, but also former Peruvian soccer players who have dressed the white and red. He has been visited by César Cueto, ‘Chorrillano’ Palacios, José Soto, ‘Puma’ Carranza, ‘Puchungo’ Yañez, among others. And every time the national team plays, the young woman tends to fall singer Brigitte Roman and the composer Andrés Vargas, cousins ​​of the Peruvian striker Gianluca Lapadula.

All of them, in addition to the good vibes, arrive at the place seduced by the marine and Creole dishes, whose names are inspired by the selection. There is, for example, (with octopus, black shells and fish).
