The great dream of every WWE superstar is to have their ‘Wrestlemania moment’. Even if it is not for a title fight, the gladiators want to be in the great event in any way (this year it will be on Saturday, April 2 and Sunday, April 3). In fact, in recent weeks, Seth Rollins did everything he could to get a match, but failed.

When it seemed that the ‘Architect’ would say goodbye to the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’, this Monday he received enormous news and from the mouth of Vince McMahon, the owner of the company. In a video posted on the company’s official accounts, the fighter walked through the rooms of the venue located in Stamford.

Immediately, Rollins entered the office of the head of the McMahons. From the outset, The Shield ex asked if he would be fined, suspended or, in the worst case, fired for the attitude he recently displayed. However, great was the surprise that Seth took, because the boss ruled out all those possibilities.

In fact, the WWE owner criticized ‘The Architect’ for not being able to obtain the Wrestlemania 38 ticket and for not having consulted directly with him about a chance to be on the ‘Show of Shows’.

Immediately afterwards, the owner confirmed to Rollins that he will have his “own main event”. Of course, McMahon avoided mentioning the rival that he will face and that he will only meet him once he steps into the ring this weekend.

Who would be Seth Rollins’ rival?

As soon as the announcement was made known in the WWE accounts, the specialized portals and the fans of wrestling entertainment speculate with a name to measure up to Seth Rollins: Cody Rhodes, the son of the remembered Dusty Rhodes.

Cody was in the company until 2016. Then, the gladiator walked to other places until he became one of the main faces of the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) project, where several figures who went through WWE arrived. Recently, Rhodes disassociated himself and since then he is expected to return to the McMahon family company. What’s more, he was expected at Royal Rumble, but everything indicates that he will be at Wrestlemania 38.
