Be part of the “Bicicleteada 2022: Everything can be done by bike” this Sunday in Miraflores

King’s Day, the national holiday of the Netherlands, is also celebrated in Peru. And on wheels. This Sunday, April 24, Miraflores, that district facing the sea, will host the “Bicicleteada 2022: Everything can be done by bike”. An event promoted by the Heineken group and, of course, the Dutch Embassy.

This initiative seeks to encourage the use of this sustainable mobility as part of the daily routine for all citizens. But It is also a call to solidarity: the participants will bring non-perishable foodwhich will be donated to “La Cocina del Pueblo”, a social project.

The bike ride will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The tour will start at 8:30 a.m. and will start and finish at Plaza Grau, located on the first block of José Pardo Avenue on the Malecón de Miraflores. The route will travel 17 kilometers, starting from this square, then continue along 28 de Julio Avenue, Arequipa Avenue, bordering the Costa Verde and returning.

The event will feature various activities for the whole family, such as live band concerts, Dutch food stands, cockfights, stand-up comedy shows, among other surprises. In addition, the Dutch company will raffle two tickets to Amsterdam to live the Heineken Experience: a visit to the headquarters of one of the most appreciated beers in the world.
