Diego Valdés’ great goal for America’s 1-0 vs. Tigres by Liga MX | VIDEO

The goalless draw between América and Tigres was broken after half an hour on Saturday night. After attempts by both teams, Diego Valdés was in charge of scoring the 1-0 in favor of the ‘Águilas’, in a match for matchday 15 of the Liga MX Closing Tournament.

At minute 32, Jorge Sánchez gave the ball to the Chilean midfielder, who decided to look for the rival goal. Valdés dribbled past a rival, settled for his right leg and took out the strong shot, to overcome the resistance of goalkeeper Nahuel Guzmán in El Volcán.

In this way, Valdés signed his fifth goal in the competition. The previous victims of the 28-year-old athlete were Juárez, Necaxa, Toluca and Santos Laguna.
