Sergio Ramos congratulated Real Madrid on the LaLiga Santander championship

Sergio Ramos did not renew with Real Madrid and announced his departure from the club in June of last year to the surprise of a sector of the fans who enjoyed the defender’s historic goals for 16 seasons. After a month, he signed for PSG, but from France, he still has fond memories of his former team.

For that reason, the Spanish footballer congratulated the ‘White House’ for winning the 2021-2022 LaLiga Santander championship. He stated this through a message on his Twitter account and also uploaded the publication in one of his Instagram stories.

“Congratulations, Real Madrid, for the 35th league title!”, the 36-year-old player wrote. Likewise, many users greeted him for always keeping his love club in memory.

“You are historical. You must retire here.”, “You deserve a farewell match”, “I will always wish you success in your career” or “Thank you for all the times you saved the team”, were some of the comments from the fans of the white box.

Sergio Ramos marked history in Real Madrid

In the list of players with the most titles at Real Madrid, the Spanish defender shares third place with Manolo Sanchís as they each won 22 trophies. The first on that list is Marcelo (24) and then Gento (23), although the Brazilian winger can add one more if he wins the UEFA Champions League.
