Lewandowski: “It may have been my last game with Bayern”

“It may have been my last game with Bayern. I can’t say 100% but it could be.”, said the striker wanted by Barcelona at the end of the match, in statements to the Polish television ‘Viaplay’.

“We want to find the best solution for me and for the club”, added the attacker, who was proclaimed for the seventh time in his career as the top scorer in German football.

Hasan Salihamidzic, sports director of the German champion, had already acknowledged that Lewandiwski wants to leave Bayern Munich. “I spoke with Lewa. In the conversation he told me that he did not want to accept our offer to extend the contract and that he would like to leave the club.”, indicated the leader to the German Sky channel, in which he said that the attacker has signed until 2023 and that Bayern intends to continue counting on his services.

Lewandoski closed the league campaign this Saturday with his thirty-fifth goal of the course and picked up the award as top scorer. It is the seventh time that he has achieved it, making him equal with the legendary Gerd Müller, the fifth in a row.
