Gesture towards the fans: Cueva, Carrillo and Aquino signed autographs for Peruvians | VIDEO

We are a week away from the match that the Peruvian team will face in the playoffs, in which they will seek qualification for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. A few days before the decisive duel in Doha, the good atmosphere reigns in the ‘Blanquirroja’ and the spirits and motivation of the players are full.

This Monday, André Carrillo, Christian Cueva and Pedro Aquino took some time and left a nice memory for the dozens of fans who came to the Sant Cugat High Performance Center, the team’s training ground.

With a lot of patience, the ‘Culebra’, ‘Aladdin’ and the ‘Roca’ grabbed the different shirts that were in front of them and put their signature. The beautiful gesture was made before the siege of the fans and also of the journalists who wanted the soccer players to answer some questions.

Peruvian triumph in friendly

In its last exam, Peru beat New Zealand 1-0 this Sunday in a friendly match in preparation for its playoff match on June 13 against an Asian team to reach the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Peruvian winning goal, in a duel played in Barcelona (Spain), was scored by the Italian-Peruvian Gianluca Lapadula at 69 minutes.

This is the last test for Peru, which must play the playoff in seven more days in Doha with the winner of the match between Australia and the United Arab Emirates, who will meet this Tuesday in the Qatari capital.
