Prosecutor requested the immediate arrest of Sebastián Villa, Boca Juniors player, accused of sexual abuse

Prosecutor Vanesa González ordered the Justice of Guarantees of Lomas de Zamora to arrest Sebastián Villa, forward of Boca Juniors, accused of sexual abuse with carnal access. This has occurred after the complaint of a young woman who had a romantic relationship with the Colombian striker in 2021.

The Court of Guarantees No. 2 of Lomas de Zamora, in charge of Javier Leandro Maffucci Moore, must decide whether or not to validate Villa’s arrest request made by the prosecutor.

As reported by Infobae, after the psychiatric examination of the Colombian soccer player, which determined that Villa has “a normal personality” and “does not present psychiatric pathology or mental disorders”; The request of the prosecutors of UFI No. 3 of Esteban Echeverría, who is investigating the Colombian, was imminent so that he appears in the case.

Last Thursday, the specialist who examined Villa for an hour, the psychiatric doctor Yanina D’Emilio, concluded that the footballer does not suffer from “psychiatric pathologies, so he can testify without prejudice to his psychophysical well-being.”

Sebastián Villa case remains unsolved

Prosecutors González and Verónica Pérez listened to the two doctors who treated the complainant the day after the alleged abuse and agreed that they do not remember the case and that they stick to what the medical history says. That is, they did not see any type of injury.

However, during the interrogations, the victim’s lawyer, Roberto Castillo, made a point of asking about additional studies. It is that the victim assures that they sent her to do a series of procedures that are customary to order in cases of abuse. The two doctors denied it. This contradiction could be settled if the document appears in which the woman is ordered to carry out these studies.

They also received the overwhelming psychiatric report on the victim. There it was revealed that the young woman “presents indicators of sexual abuse during the recounting of the events” with “anguish” and a “post-traumatic stress disorder”. It was also concluded that in her testimony “there are no signs of fabrication or mendacity.”

Similarly, several chats circulated that the soccer player had with the young woman after the attack: “I’m making arrangements with the neighbor who called the police.” It was in relation to one of the facts that the prosecution has verified. Thanks to reports from 911 and the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security, it was certified that the night of the alleged abuse, a neighbor of the soccer player’s house called the police because he heard screams.

The complaint against Villa was filed in writing on May 13 at the prosecutor’s office of the judicial department of Lomas de Zamora. The victim then ratified it in person at the prosecution.
