Pure talent: Cueva and Cominges showed their skill with the ball in training | VIDEO

The Peruvian team had its first training session in Qatar this Saturday, with a view to the match against Australia, for the playoff for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The session consisted of tactical work in attack and defense, but there was also time to relax, as demonstrated Christian Cueva and Juan Comingeyes

In Saturday practice, ‘Aladdin’ and the ontological coach of ‘Blanquirroja’ got together to play not to drop the ball. For several seconds, the two athletes kept the ball in the air, tapping with the outside of their feet.

Christian Cueva and Juan Cominges were partners in the Peruvian national team. Both coincided in several training sessions and the only game they played was against Bolivia, on October 12, 2012, on date 9 of the Qualifiers for Brazil 2014. That day, the result was a tie at one.

When is Peru vs. Australia?

The Peruvian team secured its place in the playoffs for the Qatar 2022 World Cup in March, but still did not know its rival. Finally, the wait is over and on Tuesday the opponent of the “Blanquirroja” was determined: the duel will be against Australia, who beat the United Arab Emirates 2-1 in the Asian playoff.

Peru vs. Australia, for the playoff for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, will be played next Monday, June 13, at 1:00 pm (Peru time), at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium in Doha. The meeting will be broadcast by Latina, Movistar Deportes and DirecTV Sports.
