José Bellina referred to Jefferson Farfán: “We believe that he will participate in the Clausura”

Jefferson Farfán has not played since December 28, 2021 (second final against Sporting Cristal) because he is still in the process of recovering from his knee. The soccer player stated, a few days ago, that he feels pain when climbing the stairs and that statement caused concern to Alianza Lima fans.

In this sense, the blue and white sports manager, José Bellina, mentioned that the club was aware of the soccer player’s health when the agreement was closed. “At the time of hiring Farfán, he and his entourage were very transparent in telling us that he was not at 100% physical condition and had already had injury problems. There was no evaluation from Alianza’s medical department, but we did have prior medical information. We think his return (early last year) was positive”, revealed for Radio Ovation.

In the same way, the sports manager hopes to have the striker for the second tournament of the year. “We believe that Farfán is going to be able to participate in the Clausura, we don’t believe that it can be to the magnitude that we would like, but the objective is that he can be in some games, although it is something that is going to be seen day by day”he mentioned.

“The relationship with Jefferson and the club is never going to break, if there are contractual aspects that can be reviewed, we will do so, but he has always wanted to leave a legacy at the club. He wants to support Alianza and today we have not thought that this relationship can be cut contractually ”, communicated.

Alianza Lima mentalizes in the Clausura

José Bellina also spoke about the possible reinforcements for the Clausura and, in this sense, mentioned that Alianza Lima once again presented an offer to Guerrero. “We have made a proposal to Paolo, we approached him a week ago and in the last few days we approached him with a proposal with some modifications. We are waiting for him to determine what he wants”, mentioned.

On the other hand, he revealed that there is communication with Paolo Hurtado, however, he stressed that there is no signature involved. “We have been in contact. For us it was important to check how he is physically, he has done several medical evaluations with the club’s department and based on that we have continued talking, but nothing has been agreed with Hurtado. We are talking with him and we will see if it can happen but there is no agreement, ” accurate.
