The training sessions for the Peruvian team continue this Sunday, although new players joined the group led by Juan Reynoso. After playing the 2022 League 1 final, the squads from Alianza Lima and Melgar arrived in Videna.

Jairo Concha, Luis Iberico, Carlos Cáceda, Alexis Arias and Paolo Reyna placed themselves under the orders of the technical director who summoned them a few days ago. The ‘Blanquirroja’ Twitter account published images of the footballers when they worked in the gym.

One of the photos shows Yoshimar Yotún, a Sporting Cristal player, talking with the Alianza Lima midfielder. Both have met in League 1 2022 with their respective teams and are now teammates in the Peruvian team.

It is important to mention that the ‘Blanquirroja’ continues with its preparation for the start of the Conmebol Qualifiers towards the 2026 World Cup. The squad led by Juan Reynoso will face Paraguay this Wednesday, November 16 at the Monumental Stadium (8 pm).

Then, the ‘Bicolor’ will hold a second friendly. On this occasion, the team will clash against Bolivia at the Monumental de la UNSA in Arequipa on Saturday 19 at 7:30 pm (Peruvian time).
