With a play in conjunction with Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes scored the 1-0 of Portugal vs. Nigeria for international friendly.
Portugal took flight this Thursday with a resounding 4-0 victory in a friendly against Nigeria, with the great absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, and heads to Qatar with renewed spirits to face the World Cup.
Cristiano, in the midst of the controversy generated by an explosive interview, was left out of Fernando Santos’s options due to gastritis, but the “quinas” did not miss him.
His Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes led the way in the first half with two goals -one from a penalty- and Gonçalo Ramos -who made his debut tonight- and João Mário completed the win in a match dominated by the Portuguese.
João Félix, very active throughout the game and with several chances, ended the night in white.
Portugal opened the scoring after 9 minutes, in an attacking play in which the Atlético de Madrid striker shone.
He put a great ball behind the defense to Dalot, who was coming down the right flank and served Bruno Fernandes to score the first.
