Ángel Correa and Thiago Almada will fulfill their dream of being part of the Argentina team in a World Cup. Both players were summoned by coach Lionel Scaloni as an emergency, due to the casualties of Nicolás González and Joaquín Correa, and they traveled early this Friday to Qatar, after having an impressive farewell at the Ezeiza airport.
Dozens of ‘Albiceleste’ fans have shown their affection for Ángel and Thiago since they set foot on the venue. The soccer player from Atlético de Madrid and Atlanta United was accompanied by a sea of people through the corridors and they were motivated to make good presentations in the World Cup.
What happened in Ezeiza was total madness. The fans, at one point, chanted “vWe will return, we will return, we will return again, we will return to be champions, as in 86.while Correa and Almada were also besieged by journalists to get some statements from him.

“It took me by surprise, I was enjoying myself with my family and they called me, so now I’m going to Qatar with great enthusiasm. I was with my grandmothers, my friends, my sisters, my nephews and my daughters. The news made me very happy.” expressed an excited Correa.
For his part, Almada also shared his joy at the call. “It is the happiest day of my life for me and my family. It is for everything that we fight, that we live day by day, so I am very happy ”, Indian.
Rivals and fixture of Argentina in the World Cup
The Argentina team, led by Lionel Messi and world champion in 1978 and 1986, will make its debut in Group C of Qatar 2022 against Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday, November 22. Their next rivals will be Mexico (Saturday, November 26) and Poland (Wednesday, November 30).
