Latina journalist hands over Peruvian chullo to Argentina coach during conference | VIDEO

The Latina journalist, Paul Pérez, attended as part of the team of journalists from the official World Cup channel in Peru, the press conference given by the Argentine coach, Lionel Scaloni, just before playing his first game in Qatar 2022, against the Saudi Arabian team.

Paul Pérez revealed to the Latina news program that he gave him a Peruvian chullo that always accompanies him on all his trips around the world and that for him is his cabal, so he felt the need to give it to the Argentine coach.

“Lionel Scaloni’s press conference is a press conference that sounded familiar to me with a lot of good vibes, going on longer than it should have. So when the press conference ended, I approached Scaloni who attended to the press, he talked with some colleagues and I took out the chullo that was in my red backpack and handed it to him ”, explained the reporter.

In the images, you can see the precise moments in which the journalist gives him the Peruvian chullo, an emblem of Peruvian culture, which on countless occasions is usually given to foreign visitors as part of our identity.

“I told him, as a symbol of an amulet we give it to him on behalf of all of Peru, I hope he has a good World Cup and that Argentina can be champion. I hand him the chullo and he thanks me and immediately extends his hand and says: “thank you very much, where from?” From Peru, I tell him, for me it is an amulet, I take it everywhere because it gives me luck and he told me: “thank you very much”he added.

In this way, the journalist pointed out that his desire is for Argentina, along with Lionel Messi, to finally win the Qatar 2022 World Cup, one of the trophies that the ‘flea’ still does not have in his showcase.
