The Argentina team debuts in the Qatar 2022 World Cup this Tuesday, facing Saudi Arabia, on the initial date of Group C. The ‘Albiceleste’ fans arrived at the Lusail Iconic Stadium for the first presentation of the team led by Lionel Messi and put together a festive atmosphere, although they also made a curious request.
After reaching the surroundings of the sports venue, the fans began to be noticed with effusive chants addressed to the squad led by coach Lionel Scaloni. In the same way, Argentine fans did not hesitate to question the organizers of the World Cup for the absence of alcoholic beverages in the stadiums.
“Give me beer”, was the phrase that the South American fans repeated in unison, highlighting the request with applause and musical instruments. Let’s remember that the public will only be able to consume this type of drink in the Fan Zone, hotels and restaurants (where there is a greater variety of liquors).
This is not the first time that fans have complained against the authorities of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, since the followers of the Ecuadorian team also did so, no less than during the opening game against the Qatari team.
