Reserved for 3 years or more and competing on the fibrous sand track of Deauville (Calvados), the fifth day brought together sixteen competitors divided into nine books on a value scale. Having just proved his form on November 6 at the same 2500m bid event and shed four pounds of weight due to a return to the handicap, Mr Xu (No. 6) took the opportunity to reunite with success and afford the second A of his career for his eighteenth participation. Waiting in the peloton, this resident Janna Barbero did his best halfway to the finish line to quickly get out of reach of rivals. Supported by Clement Guitro, this 5-year-old gelding is clearly ahead Shrifanelogrin (#3) who finished well but slower than the winner.
For the lead duo, the photos had to be decided in this order, bazok (No. 9), constant figure, cheek to cheek (No. 16) and one of the animators, Lettit Boy (#4) very brave all over the finish line. These three competitors are separated by a short head and only a head. As for the favorite Just lightt (#13) he rode in second position for a long time before weakening in the final phase.
