Find out below how the last day of the series will be played and look at the position table at the moment.
Uruguay, the only one of the 32 teams that has failed to score goals, is playing out its future in the tournament on Friday against Ghana, who wants their ticket to the round of 16 and take revenge after twelve years. The ‘Celeste’ reaches the last date of Group H as bottom team and adds a point, like South Korea but has a worse goal balance than the Asians (-1 against -2).
Ghana, on the other hand, accumulates three points (and balance 0) and the already classified Portugal of Cristiano Ronaldo has six points. Therefore, only the victory against the ‘Black Stars’ serves Uruguay and that Portugal does not lose against the hosts of Son Heung-min. Both games will be played simultaneously.
Uruguay and Ghana will meet at the Al Janoub stadium, in the picturesque coastal area of Al Wakrah, south of Doha, while the Portuguese and South Koreans will meet at the Education City stadium. The two qualifiers from Group H will meet in the round of 16 with those who advance through Group G, made up of already classified Brazil, Switzerland, Serbia and Cameroon.
