Real Madrid presents a starting lineup without any Spaniards for the first time in its history

Today, in the Real Madrid vs. villarreal, we have witnessed a historical fact. For the first time in its history, the white team took the field without Spaniards in the starting lineup.

In the lineup that Carlos Ancelotti presented there are three Frenchmen (Tchouaméni, Mendy and Benzema), two Germans (Rüdiger and Kroos), two Brazilians (Vini and Militao), a Croatian (Modric), a Belgian (Courtois), an Austrian ( Alaba) and a Uruguayan (Valverde).

The Iberians who had the confidence of the coach were Marco Asensio and Dani Carvajal. The former was left on the bench due to a technical decision, while the latter is recovering from an injury.
