Start of League 1 with guarantees: Police will provide security for matches with the public from this Saturday

The parties of the League 1 2023 They can be played with the public starting on January 21, confirmed the Professional Soccer League (LFP) on Tuesday after a meeting with authorities from the Peruvian National Police (PNP), despite the reactivation of protests in Lima and the provinces. .

“The Police assured that there is no risk in celebrating these matches (from date 1 to this Saturday) and the following ones, always with constant communication and with a schedule that allows them to guarantee the safety of all spectators. In this way, it also assures us that all of us who participate in the organization of the matches can be sure and calm that they will take place because the competition will have all the guarantees”, indicated the LFP.

The organizers of the contest reported that General José Víctor Zanabria Angulo, (Head of the Lima Police Region), Héctor Lara (Director of Competitions of the FPF) and Jesús Gonzalez (Head of Operations of League 1) were present at the meeting.
