PSG: AC Milan agent Skrinjar rules out Inter contract extension

It was a walk that caused a stir. While Milan Skrinjar endured a difficult match, punctuated by a defeat and a 0-1 sendoff to Empoli, on Monday evening his agent Roberto Sistici spoke about his future at the TeleNord microphone. “We have already informed Inter that Skrinjar will not renew the contract and that we can discuss this with other clubs,” the adviser said, confirming the latest information from Italy. While Paris hopes to recruit him, he was unwilling to stop on this track: “Between us, we did not talk about Paris, just as we did not disclose our position and the position of Inter, given that we agreed to deal with due confidentiality, in the interests of peace and team performance. And I help the player. »

At the end of the loan in June of the following year, the 27-year-old Slovak defender refused the club’s latest contract offers, including the last before the Italian Super Cup. Therefore, he can go to Paris or any other club for next season. As announced in our January 20 columns, optimism is needed by Luis Campos and Christophe Galtier, who ardently desired it last summer, to shore up a shaky sector.

Envelope for 10-15 million euros this winter

After the card against Pays de Cassel (0-7) in the round of 16 of the French Cup on Monday evening, the Paris coach gave an update on this file: “As for Milan Skriniar, I’m in the news. I cannot tell you whether he will come this winter or this summer. He is a player who has been followed for a long time. We thought we had it this summer, but we didn’t. We will see at an attacking level if we have at least one player who digitally replaces Pablo Sarabia,” the technician at the beIN Sports microphone tried to point out.

Coming this winter from Milan Škrinjar seems difficult. This would mean a transfer and therefore compensation for PSG, which, without the cash inflow by the close of the market on the evening of January 31, seems illusory. PSG only have between 10 and 15 million euros to invest in this transfer window. If Inter open the door for a transfer this winter, they shouldn’t have to pay more, especially since at the same time Luis Campos is hard at work to try and find a rare gem at attacking level. Several paths have been explored in recent days. In a press conference, Galtier made it clear he was looking for a “completely different profile” from that of Sarabia, who was transferred to Wolves for €5m, excluding bonuses, last week.
