This is how the drums were for the Copa Libertadores 2023 with Alianza, Cristal and Melgar

The social networks of the CONMEBOL Libertadores Cup showed what hype each team will be in for this group stage that will begin in the coming weeks. It should be noted that the last team classified for the knockout phase of this competition (Sporting Cristal) will make up the number four bolillero.

Meanwhile, Alianza Lima and Melgar make up the number three bass drum made up of Bolívar, The Strongest, Metropolitanos, Aucas, Monagas and Argentinos Jrs.

It is important to know that Flamengo, current champion of the international tournament, will occupy group A directly.

When is the draw for the Copa Libertadores group stage?

The draw for the group stage of the Copa Libertadores will finally take place on Monday March 27. Initially it was scheduled for Wednesday March 22. The schedule is yet to be confirmed by Conmebol.

The eight groups will be designated by draw, which will be made up of four teams each. In total there are 32 classified to that instance.

These clubs are separated by drums, which were ordered according to the latest Conmebol ranking of 2022. Teams from the same country cannot be part of the same zone, with the exception of coming from the previous phases.
