Sporting Cristal joins the care of the environment with the presentation of its new t-shirt inspired by Earth Day, a date celebrated on April 22 of each year.
The values of the celestial institution, together with adidas, a brand that has dressed the club for several years, merged in the sustainability campaign in order to care for and preserve the environment.
The initiative called ‘End Plastic Waste’ reflects the importance of moderating and even minimizing the use of plastic waste. Under this measure, the vast oceans that adorn the planet will maintain the required care. Also, the flora and fauna that resides in these.
For this reason, the design found inspiration in the heterogeneous but intense waves of the sea. The color black will elegantly dress the ‘rimense’ team and will thus accompany the starting clothing this 2023 season.
In the same line of sustainability, the official squad will wear this special outfit in their next match against Sport Boys for matchday 12 of the Professional Soccer League 1.
To complement the different eco-friendly actions, the Rímac club will motivate fans to attend the stadium with used bottle caps, as part of the initiative to recycle and create new sports training materials.
