Lucca Messinas and Miguel Tudela fight for the title in the ISA World Surfing Championships in El Salvador

In the immensity of the waves of La Bocana in El Salvador, the Peruvian talent is raising the flag with Miguel Tudela and Lucca Messinas one step away from playing the grand final in search of the ISA World Cup title.

Both Peruvians are in the last round of the main draw where they will face the Japanese Kanoa Igarashi and the Mexican Cleland for two places in the grand final and everything is defined this morning.

If they are in the first two, they advance directly and if they are third or fourth, they will go to the repechages, where they must pass one more round to win the right to dispute the title.

A great role for Miguel and Lucca, who with their pass to the final rounds ensured their presence at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.

In addition, with what has been done by both nationals, Peru is also fighting for the team title since it is second behind France.
