Strong winds and rain threat: the weather forecast for Peru vs. Argentina

The Peruvian team visits Argentina this Thursday for Qualifying with no margin of error, forced to add in the Monumental so as not to continue complicating – even more – their possible qualification to Qatar 2022. The match will be more than demanding and everything indicates that it will have weather conditions specials.

According to forecasts by the Argentine Meteorological Service, there is a “yellow alert” for winds of 33 kilometers per hour and a probability of rain of 7% at the time of the meeting in Buenos Aires. It is also estimated that a cloudiness of 94% will be perceived.

It is also contemplated that the temperature will be 17 degrees around 8:30 local (6:30 in the afternoon in Peru), when the commitment begins for the 12th date of the South American qualifiers.

Brazil and Argentina lead the South American qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup undefeated with 28 and 22 points, respectively.

They are followed by Ecuador (16), Uruguay (16), Colombia (15), Paraguay (12), Peru (11), Chile (10), Bolivia (9) and Venezuela (7).

The ‘Albiceleste’ grows hand in hand with a liberated Lionel Messi, after guiding his team to the Copa América in Brazil last July and cutting 28 without winning a title.

Around Messi a society of action has been formed integrated by Rodrigo De Paul, Giovani Lo Celso and Leandro Paredes, which represents a serious inconvenience for the needy Peru.

A new defeat for the selected team led by Ricardo Gareca will leave him on the tightrope and with the threat of not repeating the World Cup qualification, as he did in Russia 2018 after 36 years.
