Erling Haaland returned to the pitch this Saturday and, after entering the pitch in the 72nd minute, scored Borussia Dortmund’s third goal for a 1-3 away win against Wolsburg.
Haaland sentenced in the 81st minute, after a highly contested match and with many arrivals from both teams, by scoring inside the small area to center Julian Brandt from the left. However, the curious thing was in the rostrum with a lady who cut the young Nordic forward’s sleeve.
Just like showing a YouTube video, which has not taken long to go viral, Haaland celebrated in front of the tribune, a place from which the Wolfsburg fan made the controversial gesture, evidently annoyed by the goal that the Nordic scored to his team. The images are already going around the world.
More of the victory of Dortmund
The start of the game was dizzying. The first three minutes were enough for a good foray into the Dortmund area by Brandt, whose center ended in a corner kick; for a shot from Marco Reus that forced Wolfsburg goalkeeper Pavao Pervan to stretch and for Wolsburg to go ahead through Wout Weghorst.
The goal, in minute 2, came in Wolfsburg’s first advance. Dodi Lukebakio teamed up on the right with Ridle Baku, who threw a cross for Weghorst to finish with his chest from close range.
After Wolfsbugo’s goal, Dortmund had the initiative against a fairly withdrawn Wolfsburg. Clear scoring chances were not given and when Wolfsburg counterattacked on the right wing, with the Lukabakio-Baku duo, it caused headaches. However, Dortmund’s permanent offensive insistence brought the tie at 35 with a penalty converted by Emre Can.
In the second half, Dortmund went ahead with a shot from Donyell Malen from the half moon, a pass from Reus. After the draw, Wolfsburg had advanced their lines and after Malen’s goal began to take the initiative in search of the equalizer.
Dormund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel had a lot of work in the second half. The most dangerous thing was a shot from Lukabakio inside the area that he managed to slap. The game had changed and Wolfsburg was the team that attacked and Dortmund the one that waited and counterattacked.
In that constellation Haaland’s entry, by Malen, made sense. His first contact with the ball was already a shot on goal. Later, in 81, the sentence came when Brandt had all the time in the world to throw his center to the far post and the Norwegian sentenced the game.
