Luis Suárez does not have a good time at Atlético de Madrid and is tempted by MLS and Corinthians

Luis Suárez was for many years one of the best forwards in the world, however, everything that goes up has to come down. Although his first season at Atlético de Madrid was a dream, being the scorer and achieving the title, 2021/2022 is very different.

The team led by Diego Simeone has had four games without winning in LaLiga and Luis Suárez is no stranger to bad times. The attacker has already gone eight games without scoring and the discomfort in him is evident in the last games.

Close to turning 35 on January 24, the Spanish press speculates about an uncertain future for the Uruguayan. Luis has reportedly been tempted by David Beckham’s Inter Miami. The American cast looks for another alternative after an irregular season of Gonzalo Higuaín.

The other alternative that Suárez would have, according to the Spanish websites, is Corinthians. The Brazilian team seeks to reinforce itself with a hierarchical striker to win the Copa Libertadores, a competition that it won for the last time in 2012.

In a past interview, the ‘Pistolero’ made it clear that, if he left Europe, his priority would be the United States: “I prefer to continue enjoying elsewhere, that the physical condition gives you until it gives you and you can enjoy more football, and not so much pressure ”.

“The pressure felt in South America is more than in countries like the United States, Asia or wherever you want to enjoy being 37 years old”, added the top scorer of the Uruguayan team.
