Atlético de Madrid joined the list of LaLiga Santander clubs that suffer from positive cases of coronavirus. This Thursday, the capital city team confirmed that coach Diego Simeone, midfielders Koke Resurrección and Héctor Herrera and forwards Joao Félix and Antoine Griezmann are infected.

Likewise, the rest of the players have tested negative in PCR; an essential condition according to the protocol to be able to train in a group.

Reduction of capacity in stadiums

The Ministry of Health and the autonomous communities have agreed this Wednesday, within the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System, to reduce the capacity of the football stadiums in LaLiga Santander, to a maximum of 75% and those of the events in venues closed, such as basketball games, to a maximum of 50%.

This was announced by the Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, at the press conference after the Interterritorial Council of the National Health System, where she explained that it has been agreed to reduce the capacity from 100% to 75% in the First Division stadiums. and Second Division of the National Professional Soccer League.
