Alianza Lima: La Equidad de Colombia is emerging as a rival for the Blue and White Night

Alianza Lima has been planning all the details of the 2022 season for several weeks and one of the first points to touch is the development of the Blue and White Night. The event has been scheduled for next Friday, January 14 and the rival in the presentation of the ‘Blanquiazul’ squad will be La Equidad de Colombia, as revealed by RPP.

As the La Victoria club board had already announced, the appointment is agreed at the Matute Stadium, which will serve for the reunion of the fans with the players at home. Let’s remember that in the 2021 League 1 finals against Sporting Cristal, Carlos Bustos’ team was supported by the fans, but the matches took place at the National Stadium.

According to the aforementioned media, the activities at the Alejandro Villanueva will start at 5:30 pm on January 14, while the match against La Equidad will begin at approximately 8:15 pm. For now, the directive continues to refine details for the expected presentation.

Within the next few days, Alianza Lima will make official the choice of the rival for Blue and White Night 2022 and will also reveal the ticket prices. In the face of the coronavirus pandemic, there will be a reduced capacity in Matute, but that will not prevent a great color in the stands.

The debut of Alianza Lima in League 1

League 1 will start on January 21, 2022 and for now the official schedule for the first day is not known. However, the fixture has already been determined and Alianza Lima will begin its path in the defense of the national title by visiting Sport Boys; while the first match of the ‘Blanquiazules’ at home will be on the second day, when they host Sporting Cristal.
