Barcelona is not experiencing its best footballing moment and coach Xavi Hernández hopes to have his full squad to improve the campaign. However, fans are concerned about not being clear about the future of Memphis Depay, one of the team’s stars: the athlete deleted his main photo with the club’s shirt on Instagram and also removed the description that presented him as a ‘Culé’ player .

As revealed by AS, the Dutch striker made these modifications almost in parallel to the victory that the ‘Azulgranas’ over Mallorca (1-0), in the restart of LaLiga Santander. This surprising variation increases the rumors of the possible exit of the player, considering that the transfer market was recently opened.

Although Memphis Depay has a contract with Barcelona until June 30, 2023, its continuity does not seem certain, especially given the possibility that Álvaro Morata could join Xavi’s squad. Even, under this premise, the attacker from the Netherlands could be used as a trade piece with Juventus.

However, for now there is nothing certain and the 27-year-old footballer continues to train with the institution ‘Culé’, which this January 5 will face Linares in the Copa del Rey. Let us remember that the striker has been injured for almost a month and is close to returning to the courts, although there is no confirmed date for it.
