César Cueto became ambassador of the Peruvian Football Federation

César Cueto, legend of Peruvian soccer, will join as ambassador of the Peruvian Soccer Federation with the aim of representing it before the clubs of Liga 1 and the minor divisions. This Wednesday the president of the FPF, Agustín Lozano, made the institutional announcement.

Among his new functions, the ‘Poet of the left-handed’ will visit the clubs in their training venues, will be present at official matches and events required by the FPF.

In addition, the historical former soccer player must support the visits required by the Technical Unit for Minors for training and competitions, as well as contribute his knowledge in the search for talents in educational institutions.

César Cueto was a World Cup player with the Peruvian team in Argentina 1978 and Spain 1982, as well as champion of the Copa América in 1975. He also played with the ball in clubs such as Alianza Lima, Atlético Nacional and América de Cali, among other teams from Colombia.
