The Peruvian team will face Panama in a friendly match this Sunday, January 16 at the National Stadium (4 pm). The squad led by Ricardo Gareca will take this match as a preparation for the life and death duels against Colombia and Ecuador for the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers.
In that sense, the ‘Canaleros’ are already traveling to Lima for the match against the ‘Bicolor’. The Panamanian Football Federation (Fepafut) reported the news on their social networks and attached photos of the players and the coaching staff on the plane.
As is known, within the squad of 22 players from Panama, the presence of Alberto Quintero (University) and Abdiel Ayarza (Cusco FC) stand out, who have shone in League 1. In addition, José Fajardo and Abdiel Arroyo appear, who are they incorporated Cusco FC and César Vallejo respectively, with a view to the 2022 season.

Peru beat foreigners from League 1 in practice match
Before this Sunday’s game, the Peruvian team played a practice match this Wednesday with a team of foreigners from the League in La Videna. The squad led by Ricardo Gareca won 2-0 with scores from Marcos López and Andy Polo.
Likewise, the ‘Bicolor’ will have a friendly match this Thursday, January 20, against Jamaica at 4 pm at the National Stadium. This will be the last chance for the ‘Tiger’ to test the players.
