Nintendo will start developing new mobile games in 2023

Nintendo will begin developing new mobile games in 2023 under its new studio ‘Nintendo Systems’, in which it will work with the expert company in the video game and mobile application sector DeNa.

As announced by Nintendo in an official statement, its new studio is formed with the intention of “promote the digitization of Nintendo’s business” and, therefore, both companies will jointly research, develop and create “value-added services to strengthen Nintendo’s relationship with consumers.”

Thus, Nintendo Systems will become the April 3 next year in a specific affiliate of the company with a capital amount greater than 10 percent of Nintendo’s (5 trillion yen) and, based in tokyowill have as President Tetsuya Sasaki.

For her part, DeNa has been working with Nintendo since year 2015, when they signed a commercial and capital alliance. Since then, the company has collaborated with Nintendo for various tasks and developing multiple services.
