As if the more than 3,500 layoffs after Elon Musk bought Twitter were little, the billionaire has once again fired several employees who decided to accept the working conditions –much more intense– raised by the tycoon.
In fact, according to journalist Justin Baragona, these now former workers have received less compensation than those who decided not to accept Musk’s conditions and resigned earlier.

Remember, these are the folks that opted into Musk’s “extremely hardcore” Twitter 2.0 and passed on 3 months’ severance.
Now they get rewarded with completion on Thanksgiving eve and only 4 weeks severance.

The worst of all is that the layoffs occurred just on the night of Thanksgiving in the United Statesone of the most important and respected festivities by the citizens of the country.
Those affected include none other than Ikuhiro Iharaan employee who earned a space in Twitter history by promote the project to expand tweets to 280 charactersin 2017.
Ihara not only participated in the technical work of this change, he also had the mission of making the company’s senior managers see the benefits of adopting the new system.
However, not even his reputation could prevent him from being fired. The worst of all is that the news reached him just as he was having dinner in a place located in the same building where the Twitter offices are. Minutes before I had posted “after eating this, you have to go back to the office and work hard again”.
Shortly after this, the same engineer shared the information of his dismissal saying that the reason given is that his “code is not satisfactory” but the professional wonders when there has been a review of his code because he has not seen it.
