This electric boat is so small that it only measures 4 meters, but it can carry 6 passengers

The luxury electric boat company Silent Yachts is betting this time on a much smaller boat with its Tender 400 model, which is only 4 meters long, weighs 90 kilos and has a capacity for six passengers.

It is an entertainment craft. Due to its size it can be confused with a boat, but it has much more capacity, reported the Hybrid and Electric page, and it is a reduced variant of previous models such as the Silent-60 or the Silent-80.

With a minimalist style, the boat is made of carbon fiber to reduce the weight up to 90 kilos. Due to this, it reaches a speed of 37 km/h

On the other hand, it has two battery options: 16 or 20 kWh capacity, and its recharge time is only two and a half hours. This makes it much faster than an electric car that takes eight hours on average.

In addition, the stored energy is distributed in a jet propulsion electric motor with 20 kW (27 hp). It also has an outboard motor with sportier characteristics with a power of 20 or 30 kW (40 CV).
