CES 2023: Nvidia will bring its GeForce Now service to cars so you can play while charging your vehicle

nvidia has taken advantage of CES 2023 to announce that it is bringing its cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, to cars. The streaming service will arrive alongside the BYD, Hyundai and Polestar brands.

nvidia made several announcements during the CES 2023, such as the GeForce RTX 40 Series for laptops and the new RTX 4070 Ti GPUs. However, another unexpected announcement was the arrival of GeForce Now to cars.

Nvidia GeForce Now coming soon to cars

According to Nvidia, the brand is partnering with automotive brands BYD, Hyundai and Polestar so that users can play in their cars with GeForce Now.

The idea is for drivers and passengers to stream games while parked or charging their electric cars. Drivers would use console screens, while passengers would use rear-seat screens, if available, with the help of their game controllers.

The ability to stream popular titles from gamers’ libraries, along with dozens of free games, will take the in-vehicle infotainment experience to a new level.said Ali Kani, vice president of automobiles at NVIDIA.
