Game Challenge: mobile game development contest launched for educational and social purposes

The developers of video game mobile phones will have an opportunity to participate in a different contest: the creation of a game with an educational purpose and social impact, in a new edition of the Game Challenge.

It is a nationwide contest, promoted by the Toulouse Lautrec School of Higher Education, under the auspices of the Embassy of the United States.

The new edition will be focused on challenging the creativity of young people to contribute to the achievement of three UN Sustainable Development Goals: Health and Well-being, Education and Quality, and Climate Action.

Another challenge is that videogames must be developed in 48 hours. It will take place on April 14, 15 and 16 at the Javier Prado de Toulouse Lautrec campus.

For registration, teams must have at least 50% Peruvians. Likewise, they will have to fill out a form or brief of the original idea of ​​the video game that is available on the web.

Five projects will advance to the final that will take place on April 27. On the other hand, according to a note from the Andina agency, the United States embassy will cover 100% of the travel and lodging expenses of the provincial teams.

In addition, the members of the winning team will receive state-of-the-art Huion graphics monitors.
