Apple sells a cloth to clean its screen at 25 euros, Internet users chuckle

Apple held its second annual keynote on Monday. The opportunity for the American giant to present among other things its new MacBook Pro 2021. But it is an accessory posted on the company’s website after the conference that attracted attention.

Apple has indeed marketed a cloth to clean the screens of Apple devices, reports Phonandroid. Price of the piece of fabric: 25 euros. “Made of a soft-touch, non-abrasive material, the wipe cleans any Apple display, including nano-textured glass, effectively and safely,” Apple says on its website.

Apple previously advised a simple “soft cloth”

The cloth is – obviously – adorned with the brand’s logo but that seems little to justify such a price. This type of screen cleaning cloth costs a lot less on most e-commerce sites. The novelty of Apple has therefore caused a wave of mockery on social networks.
