Here are the four games Microsoft offered to its subscribers in January

Gold subscribers can get the year off to a good start with four games – two Xbox One / Serie X / S games and two compatible retro Xbox 360 games – offered by Microsoft.

NeuroVoider

Set in a cybernetic world, this twin-stick shooter will take you to fight hordes of robots. You will play as a human brain controlling an android to overcome nearly 8,000 randomly generated enemies. To help him defeat his enemies, the android will have a large number of different weapons.

The game mixes elements of RPG and Hack’n’Slash and allows you to improve your robot as it progresses. It is also possible to play cooperatively with up to four players. Finally, the game is accompanied by an original soundtrack produced by cyberpunk artist Dan Terminus.

NeuroVoider is available from January 1 to 31, 2022.

Aground

Aground is a pixel-art mining RPG where craftsmanship is at the heart of the experience and will no doubt remind some of the game Terraria. The players take on the role of one of the last survivors of Earth who must start from scratch to save humanity and reach for the stars.

The game mixes survival and management mechanics and you will have to create and build objects to progress. It is also possible to unlock new technologies, breed dragons or launch into space.

Aground will be available from January 16 to February 15.

Radiant Silvergun

Radiant Silvergun is a vertical scrolling shooter in which you play as a space pilot sent back in time to avoid a catastrophe that must destroy the Earth.

Released on SEGA Saturn in 1998, this shoot’em up has been restored by the studio Treasure and benefits from some additions compared to the original version.

The title is available from January 1 to January 15.

Space Invaders Infinity Gene

Finally, Space Invaders Infinity Gene is a remake of the legendary Space Invaders with a redesigned control system, new levels, power-ups and more evolved visuals.

The game was originally released on mobile in 2009 before making its way to home consoles. As in the original shoot’em up, you will have to destroy the alien ships and avoid the shots to achieve the best possible score in the game’s 143 levels.

You will be able to recover Space Invaders Infinity Gene from January 16 to 31.
