Samsung has announced within the framework of CES 2022 Three new models in its new 2022 monitor range, including one that incorporates a 32-inch 4K curved screen and a refresh rate of 240 hertz (Hz).

As the company has indicated in a statement, this monitor is called Odyssey Neo G8 and has a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 1 millisecond (GtG).

This equipment has integrated Quantum Mini LED technology, Quantum HDR 2000, with a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits and a static contrast ratio of one million to one, which improves details during viewing.

Unlike the larger 49-inch Odyssey Neo G9 model, this monitor comes in white and features CoreSync lighting. This is characterized by detecting the colors on the game screen and projecting them on the back in order to offer an immersive experience to gamers.

Along with this curvilinear monitor, Samsung has announced that in the framework of CES 2022, which will begin this Tuesday, January 4, it will also present two high-resolution monitors. These are the Smart Monitor M8 and Monitor S8 High Resolution.

The first one has an 11.4 mm body, that is, about three quarters thinner than the previous model, the M80B 32-inch Smart Monitor M8. With a flat design and manufactured in white, it integrates a UHD panel capable of offering a 99 percent sRGB color gamut and supports 1.07 billion colors with a brightness of 400 nits.

Intended for work and leisure through the SmartThings control center, it has a SlimFit magnetic camera with its own video calling application, which is compatible with other ‘apps’ like Google Duo. Allows 65W charging connections with USB Type C port.

Finally, the S8 High Resolution monitor, S90PB, is available in two versions, a 27-inch and a 32-inch. It achieves up to 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and integrates Display HDR 600 high dynamic range technology.

As noted by the company, this monitor is verified by Underwriter Laboratories (UL) and reduces light reflections, as it has a matte screen. Like the M8 model, this one has USB Type C ports, although it achieves a charging power of 90W.
