Canada declares state of emergency in Ontario over ‘illegal’ protest by truckers

Doug Ford, the premier of Ontario—the epicenter of the protest against sanitary measures against COVID-19 in Canada— declared a state of emergency in his province this Friday due to the “illegal” demonstrations that have been going on for two weeks.
