Ukraine warns of Russian air strikes with missiles and bombs on major cities

Ukraine warned today that Russia plans air strikes with missiles and bombs on the country’s main cities and industrial infrastructure, while the first international volunteers arrive to help Ukrainian forces repel the Russian military offensive.

“The occupiers plan to activate aviation in order to execute missile attacks on major cities and industrial infrastructure”notes the latest part of the General Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Facebook.

According to this source, to meet this objective Russia has “deployed aviation units from the Central and Eastern military districts on the territory of Belarus.”

The General Command of the Armed Forces explained that the soldiers continue to carry out a defensive operation in the south, east and north of Ukraine.
