Customers prevent the rape of a woman at a Miami Walmart | VIDEO

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in court after he tried to rape a woman inside a Miami supermarket, United Statessomething that was avoided thanks to a group of customers who pounced on him and captured him.

Police suspect that the detainee, identified as Brendan Jarmal Harveycould have done the same thing before, so it has asked possible victims to communicate through a number enabled for that purpose.

The events took place last Sunday night in a chain supermarket Walmart in the northwestern area of Miamiaccording to the arrest record.

A woman was shopping when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her, lifted her dress and threw her to the ground, where her underwear was ripped off.

Hearing the woman’s screams, a group of customers went to the area where they came from and found the man on top of the woman he had thrown to the floor.

One of the customers jumped on the man to separate him from the woman and others grabbed him and finally restrained him until the police arrived and arrested the man later identified as Brendan Jarmal Harveyto whom the judge imposed a bail of $50,000.

What happened was recorded by the customers of the establishment with their phones and this Wednesday one of the videos was published by a local media.
