From Spain to Bolivia: pastor crossed the world looking for his nanny after 45 years

At that time, Ana Jiménez was 31 years old and dedicated herself to caring for “Juanito” from 6 months to six years, the time that the Jonsson family stayed in Bolivia. The good relationship between the two and her affectionate treatment created a bond that crossed time and borders: Juan never forgot Ana and a few months ago he had the idea of ​​looking for her, according to the Clarín newspaper.

First, she opened a page titled “A Help for Ana” to raise funds to support her former nanny. Then Juan, now a religious pastor, traveled from Fuengirola, Spain, to Yacuiba, where Ana lives with her son. The emotional meeting was shared on TikTok.

“She knew someone was going to visit her, but she didn’t know who,” the shepherd said.

“Hello, I don’t know if you recognize me, I’m Juanito”is the first thing the pastor is heard saying in the TikTok video and after a few seconds Ana recognizes him and they hug effusively.

Later they enter Ana’s house, they talk, he shows her photos of both of them and several images of the two of them walking and eating are shown.

“When I saw him again I didn’t recognize him, but in my heart I had him. When he was a child, I was sad to have lost my children, so he and his family came as a gift from God”Ana said according to Clarín.

“I stayed with Juanito, he was six months old, he was affectionate. Later, when he grew up, he would run everywhere where I was ”said Ana, now 78 years old.

He also remembered that he called him “my Swedish cholo” and he answered “my nana”.

“The affection and love, that never goes away and that is why I am so privileged to meet Ana; it is very special”expressed the pastor after the journey he took to honor Ana, four decades after they separated.
