French tourist who was run over by a taxi driver who had a stroke in Argentina dies

A young French woman died in Buenos Aires (Argentina) after being run over along with two other tourists of the same nationality by a taxi driver who suffered a cerebrovascular accident (CVA), official sources confirmed this Sunday to Efe.

The accident occurred this Saturday in the capital’s neighborhood of palermowhen a taxi driver lost control of the car suffering a stroke and ran over three women of French nationality.

According to sources from the Government of the city of Buenos Aires, the three French tourists who were run over in the Palermo neighborhood were transferred to the Fernández hospital in the capital.

While, the taxi driver who was driving was admitted to the Rivadavia hospitalalso from Buenos Aires.

“Luana Bichet, aged 25, who had a skull fracture, passed away. While the two companions, both 23 years old, are still hospitalized. One of them is evolving in therapy and the other in general guard”, the sources specified.

According to local media, The three young women were doing a student exchange in Argentina.
