How are the missiles that Britain will send to Ukraine that can hit targets tens of kilometers “with extreme precision”

The British government said on Monday that the multiple missile launcher system it has offered to Ukraine will mean a “significant increase in the capacity” of the country’s efforts to resist the Russian invasion.

If the international community maintains its support, I believe that Ukraine can win.” in its war against Russia, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said in a statement.

“As Russia’s tactics change, so must our support for Ukraine. These highly capable multiple launch rocket systems will allow our Ukrainian friends to better protect themselves against the brutal use of long-range artillery, which Putin’s forces have used indiscriminately to level cities,” he added.

The statement was published following remarks on Sunday by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, who warned the West not to provide Ukraine with longer-range rocket systems.

The British government described the M270 weapon system as a “state-of-the-art” military asset that can hit targets up to 80 kilometers “with extreme precision.” Britain promised last week that it would send the weapons. He did not give details on delivery times.

Britain’s decision has been closely coordinated with the US decision to give away the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) variant of the MLRS.

The United States last week announced plans to provide security aid to Ukraine worth $700 millionwhich would include precision medium-range rocket systems, as well as helicopters, Javelin anti-tank systems, radar, tactical vehicles and other materials.

Along with the weapons system, Britain also will supply M31A1 ammunition at scale.

Washington and London are confident that the deliveries will help Ukraine turn the tide of the war in the eastern Donbass region, which Russia seems determined to capture entirely.

Ukrainian troops will receive training on the use of the launchers in Britain, so that they can maximize the effectiveness of the systems. The British government previously announced that Ukrainian personnel would receive training to use a number of armored vehicles that London donated, including Mastiff, Husky and Wolfhound.

Britain was the first European country to supply Ukraine with lethal aid.and has since provided thousands of anti-tank missiles, anti-aircraft systems and armored vehicles to Ukrainian forces, the Defense Ministry statement said.
