Argentina: man tried to enter his ex-girlfriend’s house and was trapped in the chimney

The residents of the province Argentina of San Luis were surprised when firefighters and police arrived at a house after an emergency call to 911. A 25-year-old man had been trapped for hours in a chimney, while trying to enter the house of his ex-girlfriend.

This unusual episode happened last Sunday morning, and it was the cries of this man asking for help that caused the neighbors to call the authorities, says the TN channel.

This man tried to reach the first floor, entering through the chimney; however, he did not foresee that the cavity became narrower as he descended.

The subject, whose name has not been revealed, was trapped for more than three hours and begging “please help me.”

The police and fire brigade arrived at the scene and launched an exhaustive rescue operation. Due to the dimensions of the conduit, they had to break the walls to rescue the man.

They managed to free him after several hours and found that he was unharmed, although completely covered in soot.

“With the collaboration of members of the 1st Police Station and the Radioelectric Command, Firefighters from the Central Headquarters rescued a 25-year-old man,” They pointed out in a statement from the security forces of the province of San Luis.

This is not the first time that a case of a man trapped in a chimney has been reported. In the Buenos Aires town of San Nicolás, a thief tried to rob a car workshop, but when he entered through the air duct, he was trapped.

The criminal was locked up for several hours asking for help, until a neighbor heard him and called 911 to be rescued. After being released by firefighters, the man was detained.
