The defense attorney for argro he declined to comment.
Johnson, 20, was shot around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 95th Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The 3-month-old baby in the stroller was not injured but was taken to a hospital for medical evaluation, police said.
Authorities allege that Argro called Johnson’s family after the shooting to ask where their son was and threatened to have another unidentified person “followed,” the Post reported.
Johnson’s family has said that Argro routinely abused the mother of their child, beating her during her pregnancy and threatening to kill her.
