The victims were identified as Miguel Duran Flores (44), Kelly Victoria Sotelo (42), his daughter Karrie Ayline Sotelo (19), as well as Richard Julio Jesus Revollar Corrales (36), who was a tenant in the basement of the house, reported Univisión.

The police found the possible murder weapon at the scene, so since the afternoon they declared that the incident no longer represented a risk to the community.

Univision reported that a 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with the murder. All the victims knew the suspect.according to the police.

The suspect was identified as an acquaintance of another family member who also resided at the residence and was not present during the incident. Police reported that David Nathaniel Maine called 911 to report that someone had fired shots at the scene as he was leaving the residence.

“The incident appears to be domestically related as the parties were known to each other,” police said in a statement Monday.

Evidence found at the scene did not match the details of the 911 caller, Police Chief Peter Newsham said.

The researchers’ working theory is that Karrie Sotelo she was killed first, Newsham said.

A large group of friends and family gathered near the home Monday night were “completely distraught,” Newsham noted.

“I can only begin to imagine what they feel today,” he said. “This guy has been charged. My hope is that he will never see the light of day again.”
